Join an exciting chocolate and wine tasting! Love … When you talk about chocolate and wine, usually just that word come to speech, which is not very strange when chocolate is a pleasure raiser. Chocolate triggers the substance serotonin in the body, which gives a sense of well-being. These myth-like goodies have a long and exciting history, which for us thousands of years back to the ancient Mayan Indians and the Aztecs, when the cocoa beans were used as means of payment, and by the richest to a holy chocolate drink. Later the Spaniards came, who eagerly brought the cocoa bean to Europe where it was finally used as a pleasurable substance in the rich courts.

Chocolate has give a lot of enjoyment over the centuries, but it is also healthy! Research shows that chocolate is antidepressant. The higher the cocoa content, the more healthier as antioxidants, vitamins and minerals are found in the chocolate cake. Chocolate with high cocoa content reduces blood pressure, cholesterol and body weight, and increases the immune system. In other words, a chocolate and wine tasting is pure health food.

A chocolate and wine tasting takes place in about 1.5 – 2 hours. The sommelier tells about the history of the wine and chocolate, the manufacturing process and its characteristics. You will also learn about the methodology of how to taste chocolate and wine. This naturally leads the conversation to how the characteristics we feel in the wine and the chocolate match with each other. Then we go deeper into the chocolate and its mystery.

Our participants often get exciting aha experiences along the journey! During the chocolate and wine tasting, you will taste four tasteful combinations and find your favorite combination of chocolate and wine. We will discuss how wine and chocolate mate together and how to think about it all, but also how other goodies we eat fit with wine – from dessert to food. For example, in many countries, chocolate and cocoa are a common ingredient in the food. In other words, it becomes a relaxed, fun and passionate trip into the world of chocolate! With many tips and new ideas.
