Leaf, barr and pictures
Objects and jewelry in copper and silver

Charlotte Melander is an artisan who works in different metals and in different formats. Basically, she is a goldsmith with champion letters and in that role she focuses on the jewelery work with precision and function. But she also works in a more free and larger format, where it is often the story and the forms of nature that inspire.

At Galleri Hantverket she shows a selection of foliage and twigs of copper that are warm-colored and partly coated with gold leaf. They are often in natural size and thus insert nature into the room where they are displayed, hanging from ceilings or mounted on the wall. The exhibition also contains a series of thought images, focusing on motives as well as illustrating the metal’s own possibilities in terms of color and expression.
