Carl-Einar Häckner to the Royal Dramatic Theater with Shards

Magic, monologer and humorous whim. In November, visiting Carl-Einar Häckner Royal Dramatic big scene with four performances. Premiere on 23 November.
Carl-Einar Häckners Shards is about to fix something that is broken. About gluing together, break, and then fix yourself again. There will be a show full of magic, monologues and humorous whim, black tones and white keys. On his very own, quirky and brilliant way creates Carl-Einar Häckner a humor that is both easy to identify with – and be fascinated by.
– I use my own shortcomings and mistakes and makes the humor of it, to be able to turn to things, to let in the light, says Carl-Einar.
Carl-Einar Häckner was awarded the 2013 Povel Ramel karamelodiktstipendiet. In 2011 he received the prestigious Karl Gerhard scholarship with the motivation: “Carl-Einar Häckner belong and have developed vaudeville tradition. He switches in his address, he delights, surprises and seduces. In his artistry shows Häckner on the border between ure and failure is never given and that the two are equally dependent on each other as the game between artist and audience. Häckner sees his audience and lets the audience see through him. Therefore, he touches us and makes you laugh with a tear in his eye. This is Karl Gerhard spirit.“
Shards premiered at Aftonstjärnan in Gothenburg in 2014 and played there for sold out houses during the fall and spring. Summer and autumn of 2015 the show toured with the National Theatre and People’s Parks and Community Centres.
Carl-Einar Häckner has visited the Royal Dramatic Theatre once before, namely in 1997 when he made 11 performances of his solo performance L.I.F – Life in the suburb on the Small stage.
