Bibliotekstan welcomes Sandro to Stockholm

By on March 9, 2018

In the spring of 2018, Sandro opens the doors to their first independent concept store in Sweden. The over 100 sqm store opens at Biblioteksgatan 12 in Stockholm. The offer in Bibliotekstan is further expanded with this French fashion house on site and the shop will offer its full range of fashion and accessories for women.

Sandro is a French fashion house founded in 1984 by the brand’s Creative Director Evelyne Chetrite. Today she runs the brand with her son, Ilan Chetrite. The design is distinguished by being made for the modern and sophisticated woman with unexpected features of detail. Evelyne finds inspiration from street environments, cities, architecture and from her childhood in Morocco when she designs her collections.

– We are looking forward to welcoming our Swedish customers to our opening of Sandro in Stockholm and are very pleased to be part of Bibliotekstan, said Jean-Philippe Hecquet, Sandro CEO.

The establishment of Sandro’s flagship store is another part of Hufvudstad’s strategy to develop Bibliotekstan to Scandinavia’s premier destination for Swedish and international fashion.

– We are pleased that Sandro chooses Bibliotekstan for its first concept store in Sweden. The establishment complements existing offer well and will strengthen Bibliotekstan as a shopping destination and meeting place, said Emanuel Westin, Head of Business Development Store Stockholm, Hufvudstaden.

Bibliotekstan is Stockholm’s obvious meeting place with the best in international and Swedish fashion, together with restaurants and cafés gathered in an inspiring environment.
