Astronauts reunion ten years after the space trip

On 10 December 2006, our Swedish Space Hero place at the top of the Space Shuttle Discovery, buckled the seat belt, started the countdown and lifted into space. The tenth anniversary is celebrated at the Museum of Technology when Christer Fuglesang showcasing favorites from his space gasket Sunday, December 11.

Dala Horse, folding knife, toothbrush, frisbee, space yoghurt and a little trolls – these are some of the things Christer Fuglesang packed in the bag when he as Sweden’s first and only astronaut was going to the international space station ten years ago. Every little thing has been fitted with Velcro straps for easy fastening and not float away.

Now the objects are displayed for the first time at the museum. They become a part of Megamind where Christer Fuglesang as a doll floating in his space suit. On December 11, at 13 is the vital living space hero on site at the Technical Museum to showcase and talk about his subject and answer visitors’ most trickiest questions about life in space.
