Alice in Chains to Gröna Lund this summer

Together with Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, Alice in Chains is included in Seattle’s “the big four”, which changed the view of modern rock and launched the grungen. They have sold over 20 million albums around the world and received the majority of Grammy nominations. In spring 2018 they release their sixth album and on 20 June they play at Grönan’s Big Stage for the first time.

They were one of the biggest and most successful rock bands in the 1990s and had major hits with “Would” and “Man in the Box”. They have been nominated for nine Grammy Awards and three MTV Awards, have sold over 20 million albums worldwide and are one of the most influential American rock bands in the world. Today, the band consists of the singer William DuVall (since the singer Layne Staley’s death 2002), guitarist and singer Jerry Cantrell, bassist Mike Inez and drummer Sean Kinney. Until spring 2018, their sixth studio album is expected to be released and June 20th at 20.00 we will see Alice in Chains at Gröna Lund’s Big Stage for the first time.
