A rush to robot exhibition

By on April 2, 2019

In July, over a hundred humanoid robots occupy the Technical Museum, but already four months before opening, 4,764 eager robot fans have secured their entrance ticket. The Terminator legend T-800, Maria from Fritz Lang’s Metropolis, a Japanese news reader and social robot Pepper are some of the stars in the Science Museum’s exhibition Robots that starts their world tour in Stockholm.

Four weeks ago, the Technical Museum released ticket sales for the summer and the Robots exhibition from the Science Museum in London. Interest has been great and already nearly 4,800 tickets have been sold, which is unusual for a museum exhibition. Both private individuals and companies have shown great interest. Robots opens at the Technical Museum on July 17, 2019 and is shown until March 2020. It is the first international stop on a world tour that then continues to Asia.
